South Metro Weather is proud to partner with WeatherCall, a company providing a number of severe weather alert solutions that can help you stay informed at home, at work and on the go. Below are details about each service and links to get started:

WeatherCall NexGen: Stay informed when severe weather approaches your home! When you sign up, you’ll receive text message when watches are issued, and a recorded call from me when severe weather threatens your immediate location. It only costs $15 a year, and includes alerts for tornado warnings and emergencies (including if a tornado has been observed), severe thunderstorm warnings (including extreme cases with very large hail and potentially catastrophic winds), flash flood emergencies and extreme wind warnings. You can even use the “Find Me” feature to get alerts wherever you are, and you can be sure it will wake you up at night by turning your ring volume up! Click here to get started.

WeatherCall GPS: Stay ahead of the storm - wherever you are. With WeatherCall GPS, you’ll receive the same alerts you receive with our NexGen service, but while on the road! A small, wallet-sized GPS unit will ping nearby cell towers every few minutes to alert you of warning polygons within a 5-mile radius.
